Our technical team are amongst the best in Europe. They take meticulous care of every item of equipment, so you can get the best out of it.
Tony Cant – Managing Director
Tony started in AV in 1974 joining British Gas HQ as an AV Technician. Loving the show side of the business Tony joined Midland Audio Visual in 1978 and quickly became the General Manager. In 1983 he joined Viewplan and ran the Midlands and North operations. Then in 1988 he started Gearhouse and stayed until 2007 before establishing Aventeq in May 2008.

Chris Bramwell – General Manager
With 23 years in the industry as a proven project manager and general manager, Chris is a founder employee of Aventeq. He plays a key role in making sure we maintain the highest service standards.

Paul Thorpe – Senior Project Manager
Paul is known for his meticulous attention to detail – and for producing great events for clients, time after time. After 16 years in the industry, he’s pretty good at it.

Dave Garratt – Senior Project Manager
Dave Joined the Aventeq Team early 2009 and has brought a wealth of experience with him. As a proven Senior Project Manager with over 10 years experience, Dave is constantly turning around great events for some big names. The thing his clients love about him is his cool, calm approach to even some of the most demanding tasks. Nothing is a problem for him.

Mark Davison – Account Manager
Mark has been part of the Aventeq team virtually right from the word go. As well as developing new business relationships, he also heads up the Hotel & Venues Division of Aventeq alongside Chris and Alison.

Alison Garratt – Hire Desk Co-ordinator
Alison joined the AV industry in 1994. She started her career as an administration assistant then quickly progressed to the hire desk and took on the role as hire Co-ordinator.
With 14 Years experience in the industry behind her, Alison joined Aventeq in November 2008.
One of her key attributes is definitely efficiency; she always delivers beyond her clients’ expectations. Alison’s pleasant, helpful and friendly attitude always goes a long way with people.

Claire Calkeld – Accounts Clerk
Claire is a great asset to the Aventeq team ensuring the smoothest possible process of any transaction. Since day one, Claire has always gone out of her way to help customers and colleagues alike with all sorts of different queries but nothing is ever to much trouble for her. With so much going on at Aventeq House, its really important that we have dedicated people keeping an eye on the books so that we can safely continue serving our clients with the best possible service with no sacrifices and Claire’s behind us all the way!

James Bramwell – AV Technician
James is a great asset to the operational side of Aventeq. As well as being on the road from venue to venue on a good proportion of Aventeq shows, he also plays a big part in the internal operational ensuring that any equipment leaving or returning our warehouse is meeting the standard both we and our clients expect. James also plays a big part in our Hotels & Venues Division making sure that people get what they want, when they want it!

Gavin Phillips – AV Technician
Gavin is our latest addition to the operational infrastructure at Aventeq. New to the industry, Gavin was keen to get involved with as much as he could right from the word go! His desire to succeed is really starting to show now as he is picking up vital experience every day. Gavin has come on leaps and bounds since joining the team early 2010 and is proving to be a great asset to Aventeq and clients alike.
